My Stampin Starlet's Make 'n' take

This is the make and take card that I designed for the ladies of Stampin' Starlets.
Once again I have used Crumb Cake and Whisper White card.  Love it!
The stamped image was from my favourite set, Flowering Flourishes and the sentiment from the Friendly Phrases.
I made the faux bow from the Crumb Cake card and finished it off with a lovely blingy Rhinestone.

Hopefully my teamies liked the card.

Can't wait for our next meeting!!!

I shall be sharing their lovely swaps and make and takes over the next few days.

Hope you are still enjoying your Easter time.

Take care

My swap for my friends

I have just returned from meeting up with all the lovely ladies from the Stampin' Starlets team.  What a lovely day I have had making lots of different things. Isn't it amazing how we all have our own take on things.  Even though we are supplied with same card to follow, everyone puts their own slant on it!
Anyway, I had so much fun and I will endeavour to share with you all of our contributions to the day.

I always like to try and do something different for my swap when I go to our team meetings.  So .........
Here they all are in their little boxes which I made using SU cardstock, the score board and the framelit dies
You can see the pressie inside the box through the shape cut using the framelit die.  This box was made using So Saffron colour cardstock from the Subtles collection.
Raspberry Ripple cardstock from the In Colour cardstock from the Spring/Summer catalogue
Pacific Point cardstock from the Brights Collection above and Wild Washabi green from the Subtles collection

These pictures show the plaque in the box and again hanging.
To make the plaque I cut the mountboard/DSP & plain card using the framelit die on the Big shot.  I then covered the mountboard with plain card on the back and the DSP on the front.
All the papers that I have used were from the Spring Summer Catalogue.  Tea for Two DSP, More Amore & Sunshine & Sprinkles.  Crochet trim was used as the hanging loop.  Butterflies were made using the Elegant Butterfly punch and the Papillon Potpourri stamp set.  To decorate I have used Antique brads, Rhinestones, pearls, Button sizzlets.   Phew!  Hadn't realised just how many different products I had used!!
It really was a labour of love to get these completed for my friends.  I hope they liked them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Thats it for today.  Hope you have a lovely Easter.

Take care

Crumb Cake & bling

Hi
How are you all?  I hope you weren't all affected by the snow.
I had a dreadfully scary drive home on Monday, it took me an hour and half to do a 10 - 15min journey.  Cars were sliding all over the place, that was if they were able to move at all!!  Thankfully all the family got home safely.

I had an unexpected "snow" day off on Tuesday which enabled me to get on with my swaps (pics later once my team members have seen them!).

Today I managed to finish a card in between the cooking, cleaning, ironing, washing and other delightful duties one has at the weekends!

Hope you like.
I saw a card on Pinterest that used this colour combination and I absolutely fell in love with it.
The card was made using Crumb Cake and Whisper White - lovely combo, don't you agree?
The stamp used was from the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set, the sentiment was from Friendly Phrases.
I used the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder down the side of the card and then used the paper piercing pack to match it.

The butterflies were from  using the Beautiful Wings embosslit.

To finish the card off I used my glue pen then the Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  I only wish you could see that in it's full glory!!

Of course I had to have some bling.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Take care

Blue Butterfly

Boy what a busy week so far!   I can't believe that its been almost a week since I last posted.
Oooops, not going to get many visitors that way am I?

Anyway, hope you like my blue butterfly card today.
I love to use the embossing folders because I just love the dimension it gives the card.
The folders that I have used are Adorning Accents (little hearts) and  Designer Frames and of course I have used the Papillon Potpourri butterfly stamp using Midnight Muse ink and then punched out using the Elegant Butterfly punch.  As you will have guessed, I have used the glue pen and the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give it the bling.
The sentiment I used was from the Friendly Phrases stamp set using the Midnight Muse Ink.

You can just about see a twinkle on the butterfly's wing!

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Take care
