cards with swaps

Good morning, thank goodness the sun has come back out and it is Friday!  The best day of the week for me!
Today I wanted to share the little cards that I included in the swaps package for my playmates.  These little 3 x 3 cards are so cute and easy to work with.  Once again I have used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set and the sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree stamp sets.  On the envelope I have also used a stamp from the Awesomely Artistic set and gold embossed it.  I thought it looked just like a seal?  The 3d flower is from another favourite stamp set of mine, the petite petals.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Enjoy your day

Take care

swaps

Good morning all, today I am sharing with you some little gifts that I have made for my playday friends as I wont be able to attend our playday on Sunday - am taking my 4 grandchildren on holiday for a few days, cant wait!!
I absolutely love the Awesomely Artistic stamp set and have now used it on lots of my projects.
I prepared the mdf  shapes with a chalk paint then stamped and clear embossed the flowers so that it would give some dimension and would also be easier to colour in the flowers.  I used some paints from my stash to colour them.  I tried to keep the colours close to those of the SU range!  The sentiment was also from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set .

I then made these little treat bags to put them to gift to my playmates.  Once again I decorated using Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  The sentiments were from the Endless Thanks stamp set.  You can't see it but I have used glitter on the flowers, of course!
The little gift fits perfectly  in the treat bag
All ready to go!
Thank you for stopping by today.

Take care

Awesomely Artistic in Blackberry Bliss

Good morning, just looking out of the window at the foxes running past, wonder what they do all day?  Random, I know!
Today I'm sharing the card I made with my "at the moment" favourite stamp set, Awesomely Artistic using Blackberry Bliss card & ink and Mossy Meadow ink.  Of course you will see the customary bling added.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend and that you get to do just what you want to do.

Cottage Greetings No. 1 - Thank you

Good morning,  last week I received an unexpected piece of "happy post".  Inside this lovely little parcel was enough of the Cottage Greetings kit to make four cards!  The benefactor of this wonderful gift will remain annonymous for fear of upsetting others!  Let's leave it at that!
Anyway, this is the first card that I have made with the kit and then sent it on to one of my customers to thank her for her orders this week - so in effect sharing the love!!
I am loving this kit especially the delicate flowers printed on the shaped card.  Love it all actually!  Of course you will notice that I have included the bling, because you know it is the law :)  By the way the "butterfly" has been embossed on velum, coloured using the Mint Macaron ink and wasn't included in the kit.   You will also notice that the butterfly actually started out as a flower but I accidently chopped one of the petals off whilst shaping it, so turned it into a butterfly instead.  I think it works?!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day
Take care

Best is yet to come

Good morning to you.
Well today's card is using the "stamping off"  method which means you ink up your stamp once then just keep stamping until the ink almost disappears.  All the images are inked using just one colour, Blackberry Bliss!    So many different variations using just one ink, lovely don't you think.  The 3d flower was stamped on velum giving a different colour too.
The flower was from the Beautiful Bunch set and the sentiment was from the Best Thoughts
(hostess)  stamp set
