Dont walk in front of me ..........

Good morning to you, today I am sharing the project we made at our craft class yesterday.
I think the ladies enjoyed making these, it certainly kept them quiet for a while!!
The hearts were cut out from some mount board and coated in gesso before they were painted with a  chalk paint.
I used one of my favourite sayings and one of my favourite flower stamps from Stampin Up from the Grateful Bunch stamp set.  If you look closely you can see I also stamped using Timeless Textures on the background. So subtle. Such a versatile stamp set.

"Dont walk in front of me, I may not follow
Dont walk behind me, I may not lead
Just walk beside me as my friend"

Thank you for stopping by today xxxx

PS   If you would like to get hold of the heart shape to decorate, let me know.

Telford Teamie Gifts.........

Today I am sharing the little folders that I gifted to my very special teamies at Telford.  The folders are a smaller version of the one I made recently.  These folders hold 4 notelet cards and envelopes.

Outside of folder
Outside of folder in natural light!
Inside without the cards and envelopes
With the cards & envelopes

I loved making these.  I think I like to make gifts more than I like to make cards.  With all the variety of products that Stampin'Up! has I can do both so easily!

Did you notice that I used my two most favourite colours to make these!  Pool Party and So Saffron.  Love em!

If you would like some instructions for these, just let me know in the "comments" and I will forward on to you xx

Thank you for stopping by today x

My Swaps for Telford

At the weekend, I attended a Stampin'Up! convention in Telford.  A fantastic time was had by all.  We got to swap with lots of other crafters, boy what a lot of talented crafters there were too.
Today, I would like to share my swap.

Step 1. Cut out all the butterflies from clear velum and inking them with a sponge!
Delicate butterflies all cut and ready to stick to solid butterflies
Starting to assemble butterflies

Stamped "wish" onto Very Vanilla card stock and stuck butterflies on
I then added the bling, of course!

THE END RESULT !!!!

I made 50 or more of these little things and then had to make up 50 or more shadow boxes to put them in.  I loved it!   I loved it even more getting all the lovely comments from the ladies who wanted to swap with me.

I will be sharing with you some of the swaps I received in return in the future.

Lots to share!

Thanks for stopping by today

Believe ........def out of the comfort zone!

Good morning,  today I wanted to share with you a project that I made after watching one of the crafting channels on TV. I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could actually make something like this.  I quite like the way it turned out.  However, it was way way out of my comfort zone and I don't think I will be making many more even remotely like this!!!

The picture doesn't really do it justice as the blue embossing is SOOOOO shiny.  Also it has a lot of texture as I actually managed to use one of my stamps to stamp into the hot embossing powder.
By pure chance I found the button in my button stash which matched the embossing colours perfectly.

Anyway, thank you for stopping by today.

Sky .....

Good morning to you.
Today's card was using the Going Places embossing folder which is so very versatile and Sky's the Limit stamp set (sorry now retired).  Great for masculine cards.  Such a simple, easy card to make.

Class photos Sat 23 Mar

Good morning,
Forgot to post this last month, these are the projects we made at our class on 23rd March which just shows how far behind I am with my blog posts!
I don't know about you but I set out with all good intentions of getting the posts done straight after the class but................ you know!
The ladies were given three projects, one of which is always a more masculine card, as these are notoriously difficult to come up with eh?  Anyway, I loved how this one turned out.

Results

Just a few of the results!  My photography not very good I'm afraid .

Hope you all have a lovely weekend even though the weather is lousy yet again.  Wish it would hurry up and warm up.  Can't wait to ditch the coat!

Playday M&T Hello.......

Good morning,  today I would like to share the M&Ts set for my playmates on Sunday.
I absolutely love the mini treat bag thinlets.  The bag is soooo cute and you can fit one of the notelet cards inside too.
The "bag" started out white and has been inked to within an inch of its life using Crumb Cake ink and a sponge and then stamped using the Timeless Textures stamps.    Great fun!

Can't wait to see how my playmates decorate theirs.

Have a good day

Birthday Blooms in Wisteria Wonder

Hi,
Hi,  hope you are having a nice day.
Today's card is using a colour that I don't use very often, Wisteria Wonder.  I actually really like the way this card has turned out.  The image I have used is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.  You can also see that I have made a discreet background using the smaller flower and dots from the same stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Pool Party Folder

Good day to you all.  Thought I would share with you the project I did with the ladies in class last Saturday.   Think it was a bit too adventurous for the ladies who were fairly new to the class but the more experienced ladies seemed to love the project.
The project was made using just one colour, my favourite, Pool Party and of course, there was plenty of shimmer and glitter too.

Front cover.
Inside containing two decorated pockets and showing two cards that we made
One of the cards up close
Well, thank you for stopping by today.

If you would like the instructions / dimension for the folder, let me know xx

Take care and enjoy your weekend.
